Restricted Counterparty List

Last Updated: October 17, 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

Cointivo maintains a Restricted Counterparty List to prevent its products and services from being used to facilitate sanctions violations, money laundering, terrorist or proliferation financing, ransomware payments, fraud, cybercrime, and other prohibited activities.

This Policy applies to all Cointivo customers, accounts, transactions, digital asset deposits and withdrawals, and counterparties, including direct and indirect dealings.

The entities named below are restricted under Cointivo's internal compliance policy. Inclusion does not necessarily mean that every entity has been formally sanctioned or convicted of unlawful conduct. Restrictions may arise from applicable sanctions obligations, regulatory requirements, service provider restrictions, or Cointivo's own risk management framework.

2. Prohibition on Restricted Counterparties

Customers are strictly prohibited from knowingly using Cointivo to send digital assets to, receive digital assets from, trade on behalf of, or otherwise facilitate transactions involving any Restricted Counterparty.

This prohibition includes transactions conducted through intermediaries, third-party wallets, nominee accounts, related platforms, or other arrangements intended to conceal the origin, destination, or beneficial ownership of digital assets.

Where a transaction indicates potential exposure to a Restricted Counterparty, Cointivo reserves the right to suspend processing, request additional information, conduct enhanced due diligence, reject transactions, restrict account access, or freeze assets where legally authorized or required.

Cointivo may also report suspicious activity and cooperate with competent regulatory, judicial, and law enforcement authorities where required by applicable law.

3. Screening and Monitoring

Cointivo employs risk-based compliance measures, including blockchain analytics, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, wallet attribution analysis, and other appropriate financial crime prevention controls.

These measures are designed to identify potential connections to restricted entities, sanctioned individuals, illicit services, prohibited jurisdictions, and other high-risk counterparties.

Screening may include entity names, operating names, known aliases, digital asset addresses, transaction histories, and direct or indirect blockchain exposure.

A potential name match or indirect blockchain connection does not automatically establish prohibited activity. Cointivo may conduct additional investigations to determine the reliability, severity, and relevance of identified risks.

Transactions may be delayed or restricted while compliance reviews remain ongoing. Assets subject to legally binding restrictions will not be released without the necessary legal authorization.

4. Restricted Counterparties

The following individuals, organizations, exchanges, marketplaces, services, and other entities are designated as Restricted Counterparties under Cointivo's internal compliance framework.

The list includes known operating names and aliases where available. Restrictions apply to confirmed matches and relevant associated entities, addresses, and operations, subject to applicable law and compliance assessment.

5. Additional Restricted Parties

The Restricted Counterparty List is non-exhaustive. Cointivo also prohibits transactions involving individuals, organizations, entities, and digital asset addresses subject to applicable sanctions or other legally binding restrictions.

This includes relevant designations issued by the United Nations Security Council, United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), European Union, United Kingdom Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), and other competent authorities where applicable.

Restrictions may also apply to entities owned or controlled by sanctioned individuals or organizations, even where such entities are not independently named on an official sanctions list.

Cointivo reserves the right to designate additional counterparties as restricted where credible information identifies unacceptable risks involving money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, cybercrime, or other prohibited activity.

6. Indirect Exposure and Third-Party Wallets

Customers must not knowingly circumvent counterparty restrictions by transferring assets through intermediary exchanges, self-hosted wallets, blockchain bridges, cryptocurrency mixers, payment processors, third-party accounts, or other services.

Transactions designed to conceal the identity of a Restricted Counterparty, disguise the origin or destination of assets, or evade compliance controls are strictly prohibited.

Historical or indirect blockchain exposure does not automatically establish a violation. Cointivo evaluates the nature, proximity, timing, transaction value, and reliability of available information before determining appropriate action.

7. Customer Notifications and Compliance Reviews

Customers must not knowingly initiate transactions involving Restricted Counterparties and should promptly notify Cointivo if they become aware of potentially prohibited transactions.

Where suspicious activity is identified, Cointivo may request supporting information, conduct additional investigations, delay transactions, or impose appropriate account restrictions.

Customers may contact Cointivo Support to request a review of restrictions, subject to applicable legal requirements and disclosure limitations.

Cointivo may be legally prohibited from disclosing information relating to certain investigations, suspicious activity reports, or law enforcement requests.

A request for review does not guarantee the release of restricted assets or the processing of transactions prohibited by law.

8. Policy Maintenance and Updates

Cointivo periodically reviews and updates its Restricted Counterparty List to reflect changes in sanctions designations, regulatory requirements, financial crime risks, service provider restrictions, and relevant compliance information.

Entities and aliases may be added, amended, or removed following appropriate compliance assessment.

Cointivo may update this Policy without prior notice where permitted by applicable law. The latest published version will apply to relevant platform activities.

9. Reservation of Rights

Cointivo reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to refuse services or transactions involving Restricted Counterparties, request additional documentation, suspend or terminate accounts, delay transactions pending compliance review, preserve relevant records, and restrict or freeze assets where legally authorized or required.

These measures are applied according to applicable legal obligations, documented compliance assessments, and relevant financial crime prevention requirements.

Cointivo is committed to protecting its financial infrastructure and legitimate customers while preventing its services from being used for sanctioned, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited activities.
