How to Deposit Crypto on Cointivo

Before You Start

To deposit crypto you need:

  • A verified Cointivo account.
  • Crypto in an external wallet or another exchange.
  • A few minutes — blockchain confirmation takes time depending on the network.

Step 1 — Find Your Deposit Address

  1. Log in and go to Wallet → Deposit.
  2. Search for the coin you want to deposit (e.g. USDT, BTC, ETH).
  3. Select the network (e.g. TRC20, ERC20, BEP20 for USDT). This is critical — sending on the wrong network can result in permanent loss of funds.
  4. Copy your deposit address or scan the QR code.

Step 2 — Send From Your External Source

In your external wallet or exchange, initiate a withdrawal to the address you just copied. Double-check:

  • The address matches exactly (all characters).
  • You selected the same network on both sides.
  • You are sending the correct coin.

Step 3 — Wait for Confirmations

Crypto transactions must be confirmed by the blockchain network before funds arrive in your Cointivo wallet. Typical wait times:

NetworkTypical ConfirmationsWait Time
Bitcoin (BTC)2 confirmations~20 min
Ethereum (ETH / ERC20)12 confirmations~3 min
Tron (TRC20)20 confirmations~1 min
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)15 confirmations~1 min
Solana (SOL)~32 confirmations~15 sec

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • 🚫 Wrong network: Sending ERC20 USDT to a TRC20 address — funds may be lost.
  • 🚫 Sending a coin not listed: Only send coins supported by Cointivo.
  • 🚫 Sending to a contract address: Always use your personal deposit address, not a smart contract.

How to Check Your Deposit Status

Go to Wallet → Transaction History. Each deposit shows its status: Pending, Confirming, or Completed. You can also click the transaction hash to view it on a block explorer.
